The study employed a closed ended questionnaire comprising of standardized measures for each of the variables of the study to collect data. Using a sample size of 80 employees of Fortuna Limited the results show that a) employee engagement and supportive supervision have a moderately strong positive relationship (r=.520, p<0.01), b) motivation and supportive supervision have a moderate positive relationship (r=.422, p<0.01) and c) motivation and employee engagement are related positively with a moderate positive relationship (r=.408, p<0.01). This research has important organizational behavior implications. In a bid to increase employee engagement and motivation, organizations should create an atmosphere that promotes supportive supervision. Supervisors who are not supportive should be trained to be supportive and if they continue being unsupportive they should be cautioned. en_US
