dc.description.abstract In this report, I designed and simulated a 2WD electric forklift which was to be adopted by industrial warehouses. Currently, they are usually not adopted mostly because they are fond of draining batteries very fast that is within 8 hours at normal loading. Researches done advised use of standby batteries or installing two batteries in the forklifts which is so costly since the batteries are so expensive and it is among the things which limit most users. So to reduce the power consumption, I focused on the body where I replaced a counterweight used on already existing electric forklifts with a counter support and this prevents the forklift from tipping. After designing the proposed mechanism, it was analyzed to see the effect of the load on it, where it would be applicable better by the use solid works. en_US
