Abstract
Motivation is defined as internal and external factors that stimulate desire and energy in people to be continually interested and committed to a job role or subject or to make an effort to attain a goal. This comes from the interaction of both conscious and unconscious factors such as intensity of the desire, incentive and reward. Job satisfaction refers to the extent to which a person is happy with his or her job hence an employee’s willingness to perform at optimum level (Miller, 2013).
