| dc.description.abstract | Currently, there is inefficiency in donation delivery to people in need in Kampala Uganda, especially in Sanyu Babies' Home. This limits the number of babies that the Home can accommodate or take care of as a result of the lack of proper instructions on how to use the organization system among the staff members, inadequate communication between the donors and organization, lack of different modes of donating directly using the organization system, and lack of real-time feedback whereby people who want to donate request for some information using the contacts provided on the system but they get no reply. The project involved research to develop an online charity system that reduces the inefficiency in donation delivery within Kampala at the Babies Home. They issued 20 questionnaires to management staff, donors, and support staff. The collected data was analyzed using excel spreadsheets. The project was designed using Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) for the process model and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) for the data model. It was implemented using technologies such as; Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) for the interfaces, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) for styling the interfaces, bootstrap for responsiveness, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) for connecting the database and the interfaces, and MySQL for the database. | en_US |
