Main objective:
To assess the losses caused by poultry diseases on layers profitability among commercial farmers in Wakiso district.
Specific objectives of the study:
1. To profile poultry layer farmers and farms in Wakiso district
2. To assess the knowledge of poultry farmers in the identification and management of poultry diseases
3. To quantify economic losses caused by poultry diseases among poultry farmers
4. To assess the effects caused by diseases on poultry layers profitability
