Abstract
AfriSafe Run: A 3D Endless Runner STIs Game is a mobile game developed by Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering students at Makerere University to promote STI awareness among adolescents. Using gamification and mobile technology, the game delivers sexual health education in an engaging way. Built with Unity 3D and C#, and integrated with a MySQL database and Laravel-based CMS, the game challenges players to avoid risky behaviours while receiving educational prompts on STI prevention and management. The project addresses barriers such as stigma and lack of engaging resources by combining fun gameplay with evidence-based content. The system is scalable and interactive, ensuring real- time updates and personalized experiences. This report covers the full development lifecycle, showcasing the game's potential to transform adolescent health education through innovative technology.
