dc.description.abstract This project report presents a fusion of fingerprint and motion detection for on-premise security using Arduino. The main objective of this project was to design and implement a low-cost, reliable, and user-friendly biometric security system that can prevent unauthorized access to premises. The system consists of a fingerprint sensor module, a PIR motion sensor, an Arduino Uno board, a buzzer, and an IR Remote control. The system works by enrolling and verifying the fingerprints of authorized users and detecting any motion within a specified range. If the fingerprint is matched, the system grants access. If the fingerprint is not, the system denies access. The system uses motion sensors to trigger an alarm in case of unauthorized motion in the secured premises. The system was tested and evaluated using various scenarios and parameters, such as different fingerprints, lighting conditions, distances, and angles. The results showed that the system achieved high accuracy, speed, and stability in fingerprint recognition and motion detection. The system also demonstrated low power consumption, easy installation, and user-friendliness. The project report concludes that the fusion of fingerprint and motion detection is an effective and feasible solution for on-premise security using Arduino. The project report also provides some recommendations for future improvements and enhancements of the system. en_US
