dc.description.abstract The study focused on motivation, engagement and employee performance. The study established the relationship between motivation and engagement of employees, the study established a relationship between motivation and performance of employees, the study established a relationship between employee engagement and performance. The study used a case study design and the study focused on Reproductive Health Uganda in Kampala district. The population of the study was 40 respondents and the sample size was 36 although actual participants were 30. The study used quantitative research approaches for data collection. The study found a moderate positive and a significant relationship between motivation and employee performance (r = 0.512** p<0.01). This meant that motivation leads to improvement in employee performance by 51.2%. The study found a moderate positive and a significant relationship between engagement and employee performance (r = 0.498** p<0.01). This meant that engagement leads to improvement in employee performance by 49.8%. The study concluded that the organization is a good place to work, encourages employees to come up with better things, their salary meets staff responsibility, innovative ideas are encouraged and recognized on top of job security is guarantee as mistakes made are sometimes accepted. The staffs are satisfied with the team spirit, there are opportunities for personal development, and they get positive feedback from the supervisor, job performance is well evaluated in this organization because employees understand their contribution towards organization success and their financial status is informed. en_US
