dc.description.abstract This research study focuses only on the proverbs used in the text Song of Lawino by Okot p'bitek and other Acholi proverbs specifically the effectiveness of the images used in the proverbs for thematic development and enriching meaning. This research uses several methods of getting data which included document review and group discussion. en_US
