dc.description.abstract Hygiene in most public places in Uganda is a major issue as people carry germs from the wash room to other places. This practice has caused rampant increase in the spread of diseases like cholera, diarrhea, and bacterial infection. Our project therefore proposes a better way of controlling the cycle of germ transmission. The objectives were realized through the conduct of data collection, analysis and design. In addition, this also relied on the existing literature in order to comprehend and understand the topic at hand. The system architecture and system structures were developed using structured design and Process design. The system was implemented on Arduino platform using C as the core language, Arduino board, and Breadboard for interfacing different modules. Unit, integration, system and acceptance testing were used to test the functionality of the system. en_US
