| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship among work-life balance, occupational stress and job satisfaction among employees of Chief Hotel-Bulange. The study is intending to achieve the following objectives; To examine the relationship between work-life balance and occupational stress among employees of Chief Hotel-Bulange, to examine the relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction among employees of Chief Hotel-Bulange. and to examine the relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction among employees of Chief Hotel-Bulange. A correlational study design was used in the study to establish the relationship between work-life balance, occupational stress and job satisfaction among employees of chief –hotel Bulange. The study used a sample of 92 respondents who were adopted using simple random sampling technique. Data was therefore collected using self-administered questionnaire and later analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientists version 20. The findings show that there is a positive significant relationship between work-life balance and occupational stress since (p>0.05r=0.217*). The findings show that there is an insignificant positive relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction since (p=0.396, r=-0.090). The findings show that there is an insignificant positive relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction since (p=0.379, r=0.093). In conclusion, this implies that work-life balance greatly impacts on employees’ job satisfaction at chief hotel Bulange though occupational stress seem to have an insignificant impact on job satisfaction levels among employees. Therefore, the following I recommended the organization management is recommended to provide necessary facilities, conducive organizational climate and take action that caters for the welfare of workers to improve employees’ work-life balance so as to increase on their job satisfaction levels. | en_US |
