dc.description.abstract The study sought to investigate the relationship between active learning, creativity and decision making among students in Makerere University. It sought to accomplish the following objectives; to find out the relation between active learning and creativity, to establish the relation between creativity and decision making and to relate the relation between active learning and decision making. A correlational study design was used in the study to establish the relationship between active learning, creativity and decision making among students of Makerere University. In total, 75 respondents 45 males and 30 females, were sampled. The data was entered in the computer using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) from were, descriptive statistics, Pearson Product Moment and Correlation coefficients were derived. Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between active learning and creativity at r =.701** < 0.01. This implies that active learning and creativity are significantly related and therefore the null hypothesis is rejected. Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between a Creativity and decision making at r =.372** <0.01. This implies that Creativity and decision making are significantly related and therefore the null hypothesis is rejected. Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between active learning and decision making at r =.699** < 0.01. This implies that Active learning and decision making are significantly related and therefore the null hypothesis is rejected. It was therefore recommended that administrators should facilitate independent, critical, and creative thinking in students, encourage effective collaboration amongst them and increase student investment, motivation, and performance en_US
