    Abstract
Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as water color are applied using digital tools such as a computer, tablet and software. Digital painting is widely used in conceptual design for film, television and video games. Unlike the traditional way of painting digital painting enable an artist to same time and very cheap in a long run since the tools and materials used digital painting are purchased once rather than the traditional way where one with have to buy whenever the materials are done. The various types of digital painting such as impressionism and realism, allow the artist to ease their work. This is though the programs try to mimic the use of physical media through various brushes and paint effects.
