Please be warned about a phishing email from someone with the following email address (maklib2021@gmail.com) sending “Request copy of document” emails to students whose dissertations have already been approved in the repositories to resubmit them to this personal Gmail account (maklib2021@gmail.com) with a message that states as follows: A copy of the email reads:
"Dear Student, We are currently integrating your dissertations into the System. Please resubmit your report on maklib2021@gmail.com before graduation. Thank you."
Please, do not send your dissertations to this personal Gmail account (maklib2021@gmail.com) because it does not belong to Makerere University Library or the Mak IR Team and we are not integrating students’ dissertations into any other system of Makerere University. If you have any questions concerning any “Request copy of document” message, please contact us using the institutional repository email address (makud.mulib@mak.ac.ug).
