The researcher was guided with three objectives which include examining factors influencing the gender paradigm shift in weaving, examining why the rate of male involvement in weaving practices is still low and establishing possible solutions for involvement of more males in Busega-Lubigi. The study reveals that the practice of weaving is mostly associated with women but there is a gradual increase in male involvement though most people are taken up by gender related jobs.en_US
