dc.description.abstractTourism heavily relies on climate as a resource and is also highly climate-sensitive. Evidence has shown that a certain amount of climate change has occurred. Africa is considered as one of the most vulnerable regions in the world to the effects of climate change. This study was conducted in Kidepo Valley National Park (KVNP) and the overall objective of the study was to assess the effect of climate variability on number of wildlife tourists. A case study of Kidepo Valley National Park (KVNP) was taken. The main objective was guided by four specific objectives; to describe the trends in rainfall and temperature of KVNP over the past 10 years (2010-2019), to assess wildlife migration and dispersion patterns of KVNP for the years 2010 to 2019, to describe the trends in number of tourists that visited KVNP over the past 10 years (2010-2019) and to identify the relationship between climate variability and number of tourists that visited KVNP over the past 10 years (2010-2019).en_US
