dc.description.abstractThe research was basically based on the transformation and changes in the utensils used for drinking in Buganda from 90’s to 2000’s. Following objectives of this research the researcher set her obligation and justification to explore various shapes, forms and colour for these utensils at the different existing traditional places that is;Bulange Mengo, Kasubi royal tombs, different local shrines, local clubs and the different art galleries. The researcher in chapter one presented the introduction of the transformation and changes in the utensils used for drinking in Buganda from 90’s to 2000’s and also the objectives, research questions and the statement of the problem. The researcher in chapter two presented the introduction of the literature review which is about what different writers have written about the traditional drinking utensils in Buganda and how they impacted on the users. In chapter three, the researcher presented the data about the above mentioned title. While carrying out this research, she used different methods like interview, observation, photography and questionnaire. The researcher in chapter four presents the findings from her research and this chapter still comprises of the different utensils used for drinking in Buganda and their transformations and changes. In chapter five the researcher presents the summery of findings, conclusions and recommendations about the analysis of the traditional utensils used for drinking in Buganda, content, impact and how they can be transformed and changed and put back to use.en_US
