Witten (2010) defines a library as an institution that arranges for preservation, collection development and management, and organization of information materials as well as for access. Further Witten (2010) argues that libraries are networks that provide ready access to the world’s recorded knowledge wherever it is held. Several terms have been coined at different times to represent the concept of library without books; libraries having influence on computer readable format or having access to influence on digitized or digital format. Such terms are; Digital libraries, virtual libraries, electronic libraries, and to a less extent, hybrid libraries (Kiran & Nagaraj, 2012).en_US
