dc.description.abstractThis research was about jewelry making in the catholic church. Catholicism being the traditions and beliefs of Catholics is one of the most practiced religion in different parts of the world. The chance that Catholicism will continue prospering depending on the positive attitudes of the believers toward the catholic religion. Jewelry making as a source of inspiration in the production of religious ornaments has greatly influenced the growth in Catholicism throughout the world. Several activities and practices have been carried out to draw more people to Catholicism and help in the strengthening of the catholic faith but despite all such efforts to promote Catholicism, the impacts that have been witnessed among the people willing to grow in faith has been to a smaller extent. Due to the investigation carried out by the researcher, jewelry making as a source of inspiration in the production of religious ornaments to influence the growth of Catholicism have not been looked upon. This report looks at the different ways in which religious ornaments have influenced the growth in Catholicism as inspired by the creativity involved in jewelry making. It finds out whether religious ornaments have been used in the growth in Catholicism, the extent to which they have helped to influence the growth in Catholicism and lastly to examines the effectiveness of these religious ornaments in the growth in Catholicism all inspired by the creativity involved in jewelry making. Religious ornaments should not only be referred by believers as custom jewelry worn during religious gatherings. Most of these ornaments facilitate the running of several religious activities, help in easy identification mainly from other exceptional ornaments. So the mentality by some believers that religious ornaments are just worn for custom during religious gatherings has to be done away with. It is time we explore the different religious ornaments, their aims, functions and meanings in all their respective categories as inspired by the creative skills involved in jewelry making.en_US
