dc.description.abstractThe research represents the introductory part of the study, the background, the research problem, and the purpose of the study, objectives and research questions, significance of the study, and the scope of the study. The researcher also presents the findings of the study in relation to the study objectives. The study was made to describe the printing activities along Nasser road in Kampala uganda. And this was based on the following objectives in relation to the study topic. To document the printing processes and application of different printing mechanism by artists at Nasser road. To find out why commercial printing is more preferred by artists along Nasser road. To examine the challenges involved in applying the printing knowledge and skills by the artists along Nasser road. The following were research questions that were used by the researcher to gather relevant information. What are the printing processes of application and application of printing by artists at Nasser road? Why is commercial printing more preferred by artists along Nasser road? What are the challenges being faced by those who are able the knowledge and skills of printing in the field along Nasser road? The research used qualitative data collection methods, which included observation, interviewing different printing artists at Nasser road in Kampala. The researcher found out that most prints produced along Nasser road are digital prints, offset prints and screen prints.en_US
