The project sought to reduce unemployment and underemployment of digital artists in Kampala. it was presumed that development of animation companies in Kampala could provide employment for most of the unemployed and underemployed artists within Kampala, a widely developed animation industry would require a lot of artist manpower which would reduce the unemployment levels in the country. A review of relevant literature revealed that there exist various animation production techniques and explored in great detail, the techniques involved in digital cut out animation. this also yielded examples of animation shows produced using this technique, as well as the formal features and principles of animation employed therein.en_US
