dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to analyse the political campaign posters for the candidates standing for guild presidency Makerere University 2019 with intention of observing first how the leader is represented and later on pinpointing the creative applications of designs in these posters. This is important in order to observe the maib linguistic anf strategies used to organize political interests in students and to highlight the power of the candidate. Critical data collection methods and analysis will be helpful to identify how political interests can be organized in student. The study, thus points out that the poster is a powerful tool used in election campaugns to highlight the power of political party well as organise political interests in students.en_US
