Uganda like many other developing countries is highly dependent on agriculture for income generation and other job creation. The sector involves many small holders’ farmers who are engaged in different crop production. In vegetable production more farmers are involved in production of vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, eggplants, and others with few farmers in pepper growing. This study was carried out to determine the factors that influence bell pepper production among small holder’s farmers in Luwero district. The study involved a descriptive research design with data having been collected from 100 respondents. Snow ball sampling technique was used to obtain the respondents to be interviewed. The data were analyzed using a descriptive statistics and a logistic regression model. Logistic regression model in particular was employed to determine factors that influence bell pepper production among small holder’s farmer’s .the study reveals that age, access to extension services, on farm income and total production cost have a positive and significant influence on bell pepper production. Policy options and recommendation include Streamline provision of extension services so as to encourage adoption of good agricultural practices (GAPs)/obtain technical skills and knowledge adequate capital investment for increased pepper production, increased engagement of small holder’s farmers in non-farm income generating activities so as to increase on their income level that will help them boost production through investments.en_US
