Purpose of the study: The general objective for the study was to find out the communication difficulties among children below 12 years with cerebral palsy at Katelemwa Cheshire rehabilitation services Uganda
Reasons for the study:
To determine the communication difficulties among children below 12 years with cerebral palsy at Katelemwa Cheshire rehabilitation services Uganda
To determine the impact of CD on the quality of life of children below years with cerebral palsy.
Method: An observational study (cross-sectional study design) was employed. A questionnaire was used to collect data, and the collected data was analyzed and entered using Microsoft Excel and SPSS.
Results: Majority of the children at Katelemwa Cheshire home of rehabilitation services were males, having higher number of participants, children below 3 years were more high attending at Katelemwa Cheshire home of rehabilitation services Uganda. Experiencing inabilities to effectively communicate with their communication partners.
Conclusion: Among the communication difficulties in children with cerebral palsy social communication difficulties was the major one, reading and writing, mixed expressive and receptive communication difficulty, receptive communication difficulty expressive communication difficulties. | en_US |
