dc.description.abstractThe research is based on assessing the importance of digital technologies to the graphic designers at Nasser road in Kampala. The purpose of the study is to account for the importance of digital technologies in graphic design. In the first moving global environment, the demand for digital technology has been at the fore. However there are negative effects of reliance on technology such as killing critical thinking, creativity, originality and other positive aspects that were associated with traditional graphic design process. This research aimed at finding the impacts of digital technology to the graphic designers. The study finds that digital technology has positive effects in terms of efficiency Using the findings of the research carried out in the selected area, the researcher has found out that digital technologies has greatly helped graphic designers in doing their work. In conclusion however the study findings recommends embracing of digital technology beyond graphic design to other production.en_US
