A field research report submitted to the Margaret Trowel School of Industrial and Fine Art in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the award of the degree of Bachelor of Industrial and Fine Art of Makerere University.en_US
This focuses on the application and decoration of car dash board with hand woven products. The study was carried out around Ndeeba and Najjanankumbi were I carried out an informal interview from two correspondents with the help of an interview guide. However the interview helped me get what I wanted in form of people’s view and attitude towards the hand woven fabrics in relation to power woven fabrics. Therefore opportunity was created for hand woven products for car interior decoration on parts like the dash board. I hope that the study will create environment awareness to weaving students; help crafts men to expand their market and production, future reference for the future researchers, provide a room for the clients to enjoy their tastes and preferences through the direct contact with the artist/designer and also shall provide the researcher with a basic stand towards the formulation of new advancements of incorporating natural fabrics in relation to power woven products in car interior designing.en_US
