Today most medical facilities are adopting the policy of ensuring that the paintings are in their medical facilities. In comparison, most 16th - century medical facilities around Kampala for example mulago referral hospital, Entebbe hospital among others had rarely paintings in them. Some painting in medical facilities was available in England and other European countries but most had to be imported from large trading ports such as Antwerp, Lewis and Venice. Usually they could be obtained from apothecaries. In the 16th –century in England the paper paintings with fine pigments, bound together with water – soluble resin called gum. These were thereafter raised in medical facilities but on a small rate.en_US
