Community perception and attitude towards adventure tourism: case study of white-water rafting in Jinja, Uganda
Abstract
The study was conducted to assess the community's perception and attitude towards adventure
tourism. A case study of white-water rafting in Jinja, Uganda the study had three specific goals:
to determine the nature and level of community involvement in adventure tourism on the Nile in
Jinja; to assess the attitudes and perceptions of the adjacent community towards Jinja adventure
tourism; and to examine the factors influencing the attitudes and perceptions of the community
towards adventure tourism on the Nile in Jinja.
