The role of art and design products in the making of films in Kampala
Abstract
The study was meant to show the role of art and design products in the making of films in
Kampala Uganda. The research basically covered the art and design products used by the film
industry, how the art and design products would help the film industry in Kampala to grow and
to show who are the people that would benefit from the research.
In chapter one, it covered the introduction to the research topic. Under this was the background
which showed the historical beginning of the film from where it started from until it reached in
Uganda and how it spread to what we know now. It also included the problem statement, purpose
of the research and the Objectives of the study, the research questions, the scope and the
significance or importance of the study were all presented under this chapter.
In chapter two the researcher presented the literature review, which contained citations from
different sources that are related to this proposal. This information was gotten from publications
like journals, magazines, textbooks.
Chapter three comprised of the methodology that included the study design, the study area, the
target population and the data analysis techniques and research instruments. The research
instruments included; observation method, interviewing, use of Questionnaire and convenience
sampling.
Chapter four comprised of the study findings that were gotten from the field. Under which the
researcher presented the findings which were gotten through the use of the questionnaire
whose questions were generated using the objectives.
Chapter five comprised of Discussion of findings, conclusion and recommendations.
