dc.description.abstract | Inspiration is the beginning of textile design process. This can be gotten from anything like;animals, insects, birds, people in different actions, shapes and lines to design motifs andpatterns required for designing the given textiles. A motif is a single unit of a design. Apattern is a repeated motifin a given design.
This study will help to understand how Bakisiimba dance can be an inspiration for motifs tomake fabrics for making Maganda dance costumes.
