| dc.description.abstract | the study investigated the relationship between sports facilities and sports participation in Makerere University. Data was collected using qualitative methods. The study revealed that Makerere university community participates in a number of sports such as football athletics, squash, swimming , rugby, netball among others with a variety of sports facilities. It revealed that the more the respondents were made aware of the sports facilities the more they got involved in the various sports.
