Advertising has been a part of business for ages especially when one seeks to increase his or her sales. This has been done in many ways such as by mouth, radio, television, online. This has been made mostly possible because of use of photographs. Therefore, the research proposal is about analyzing the application of photography in the advertising industry in Kampala Uganda. The research is also to make a critical analysis of the process an advert designer takes while transforming a photograph into an advert ready for display in public areas such as bill boards. This further dwelled into discovery of the most companies that use billboards in Kampala and how they benefit from them.en_US
