This research report explores the spatial variability of carbon and nutrient stocks in Chloris gayana pasture fields. Chloris gayana is a commonly used forage grass in rangeland system and it’s picking up in kabanyolo, understanding the distribution of carbon and nutrients within its pastures blocks is essential for sustainable land management. The study investigated the heterogeneity of carbon and nutrient stocks at various spatial scales including within and between the fields. The spatial maps were generated through the kriging interpolation method in Arch GIS and the generated maps showed a systematic variation in block V and random variation in block E1. The results highlight the importance of considering spatial heterogeneity in land management practices, such as nutrient application. Zones with nutrients below critical soil limits will require nutrient addition. The research aids site specific nutrient management and detailed mapping of nutrient management zones in recommended.en_US
