Visual communication through infographics as a medium for conveying information about the importance of covid-19 vaccination at Makerere University.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the importance visual communication played in conveying information about the vaccination against Covid-19, the pandemic disease that caused so many problems and losses to people across the world. This research was based on the Infographics as a medium for informing the general public about the importance of Covid-19 vaccination at Makerere University. The purpose of the study was to account for the role of infographics as a medium for informing the general public about the importance participating on the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination program that is being pushed by the government of Uganda. The objective of the study was to find out how infographics can be used as a medium for informing the general public about the importance of Covid-19 vaccination at Makerere University A specific total number of 5 lecturers of which, all were from the department of visual communication and multimedia design, MITSFA, Makerere University. As an organized subarea of communication, the use of infographics is relatively very demanding. For instance, at this writing, visual communication has attained massive success in transmitting messages to people.
