dc.description.abstract | Today in Bwaise there is a challenge of plastic and polythene papers which are among agents that detoxicate land and influence poor sanitation, causing pollution to soil and people in the area. In every homestead, there is garbage of polythene and plastic bottles. These can be recycled to make art and to conserve, the environment.
As an artist I have recognized as a medium through which environmental conservation can be successfully addressed in Bwaise. Many people had very limited knowledge about using art to form up something new from garbage.
With all that said, the researcher got to say that improper garbage deposition is being fought even up to now as he writes this document, by various artists and institutions that exists out there. And there is progress.
However, the essence of this research is to identify artist who have worked in line with environment conservation through making impactful art works. | en_US |
