dc.description.abstractThe study examined the impact of technology on the textile industries in Uganda. The study was guided by the following objectives; 1.To assess the levels of technology in textile industries of Uganda. 2.To determine how this technology can help in textile production In Uganda 3.To find the ways of improving the technology used in textile production in Uganda. The study used qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data was collected using questionaires.it was collected from Managers, textile designers and packers. It was analyzed using frequency and content analysis for data obtained from unstructured interviews. The study findings revealed that the Levels of Technology impacts textile industries in Uganda positively, technology impacts textile industries to compete on the international market, technology impacts textile industries to produce high quality textiles The study recommends that textile industries should use the improved technology to boost on their position on the international market and high quality products., textile industries should tick on technology in order to develop in terms of sales and working conditions and production. that textile industries should use ways like intensive research, seek government aid and use improved technology in order to develop.
