dc.description.abstractThe study was aimed at analyzing the fashion wears worn by female students at Margaret Trowel school of industrial and Fine Art (MTSIFA). The specific research problem of the study was there was several types of fashion wears worn by female students at Margaret Trowel school of industrial and fine arts which include skirts , shirts, dresses,” kitengi” and many more depending on what one desires. But one wonders what is considered while choosing or making a choice of dress code. Little exploration has been done on the dressing code of the female students at Margaret trowel school of industrial and fine arts, many of them do not care about the consequences that may arise from their indecent dressing in public. This sets to investigate on these dress codes and how the choices made impact on their social welfare in order to create concern on the mode of dressing. Therefore this research sets to explore the possibilities of creating a decent mode of dressing of the female students in public. This sets to establish the underlying factors behind this practice and suggest possible solution. The research study was guided by the specific and main objectives of the study, basing on what is considered while choosing a mode of dressing by female students at MTSIFA. The research study used the qualitative method. The population samples were used to obtain information from lectures and students at MTISFA in Makerere. The researcher uses interview guides, questionnaires and direct observation which are applied as data collection methods.en_US
