The title of the project was “Designing a non-profit website for the Ambassadors of Jesus Christ Church, Namungoona”. The main purpose of this study was to examine the existing social media platforms at Ambassadors of Jesus Christ Ministries so as to design one to facilitate the betterment of the brand of the church, as well as to increase its popularity around the online space. The objectives were to find out the existing platforms used for the outreach of the church’s programs and services, build-up the image and brand of the church and to create a platform for the church to reach both the new and existing congregation. The researchers used a case study research design to conduct this research, which was used to investigate a single case in depth that in this case was the Ambassadors of Jesus Christ Church. Purposive sampling was used to select the respondents, and for data collection, interviews and questionnaires were used. Findings from this study established that the AJCM church had less impact over its congregation on the social media forums, fact being that the existing platforms had few followers liking, commenting, sharing and subscribing to them. Furthermore, the congregation had frustrated expectations of the church’s social media management policy that did not enforce timely social media updates and notifications. It was thus recommended that the church invested more in their social media management so as to increase their congregation’s interaction and participation in both the physical and online activities with convenience and user satisfaction across all the social media platforms.en_US
