Abstract

Illustration is an elective course unity at Margaret trowel school of industrial and fine art. Simply this mean it’s an option course unit as in it is studied by a few students who wish it study it as an elective course unit. It majorly deals with passing of information to the people using animated stories, comic books and illustrations. This comes out by making a composition of people, animals, nature and still life in one composition. Illustration materials include paper pen colored pencils, pencils, rubber, rulers whereas it can be worked upon using electronic products such as phones and computers where some software like Abode illustrator are installed and used to form illustrations though the electronic method is not common at Margaret trowel school of industrial and fine art due to inadequate materials based from the research carried on. At MTSIFA Illustration in first year goes hand in hand with print making because they serve the same purpose. Illustrations or graphic words which can be either virtual or printed manually on paper, clothes, banners, stickers etc.
