dc.description.abstractThe study is aimed at deriving fashioned party dress designs from the Red Mexican flower to make decorative party dresses around Kampala. The specific research problem of the study will be today fashion trends everywhere across the globe but one wonders why little exploration has been done on the Red Mexican sunflower as a source of inspiration for fashion products. Therefore this research sets to explore the Red Mexican sunflower as a source of inspiration for making fashion party dresses. This sets to establish the underlying factors behind this practice and suggest possible solution The study will guided by the following objective. The research study willbe guided on the specific objectives and the main objective of the study will be to use a Red Mexican sunflower as a source of inspiration for fashion designers to be able to make fashion party dresses. The research study will use qualitative method. The population sample will obtain information from lectures at MTISFA and students in Makerere. The researcher will use interview guides, questionnaires and direct observation which will be applied as data collection methods.en_US
