To examine the relationship between education level and fertility 5. To examine the relationship between wealth level and fertility, UDHS 2016 household secondary data was used for this study. The study applied quantitative analysis. The study used a sample size of 18,506 women respondents. The study found out that fertility (total children ever born) that is the study dependent variable had a significant relationship with all the dependent variables namely education level, regional development, residence, wealth level and age at first birth. The study concluded that factors influencing fertility vary from the developed countries to the developing countries, but are quiet similar in these developing countries. The study further found out that Uganda has high fertility and more women give birth to four or more children as compared to those who produce three or less.en_US
