    User education guidelines for Lubiri Secondary School Library

    Abstract
    The study aimed at proposing user education guidelines for lubiri secondary school library. the objectives were to ; To identify the current status of user education at Lubiri Secondary School Library, to find out how User education is managed at Lubiri Secondary School Library, to identify the challenges of User education at Lubiri Secondary School library, to come up with User education for Lubiri Secondary School Library. The study employed a case study research design, questionnaires and observation guides were used to collect data from the respondents. The respondents were; 60 students and 4 librarians were purposively selected to participate in the study. The study established the user user education is currently practiced and helps user to improve on the love for books, enjoy using library resources and services, turned into regular users and being able to identify/use reference books. The methods for offering library user education were: library orientation for new students, and guided library tour.
