dc.description.abstractUganda as a whole is endowed with fertile soils and generally favorable climate with adequate rainfall and temperatures ranging from tropical to temperate (UBOS, 2015). The endowment is the foundation for the agriculture sector to grow a wide range of tradable commodities, and if rationally promoted can enhance economic growth thus persistent increase in the country’s Gross Domestic Product. This research reviews the theme of increasing Uganda’s effective participation in international trade through vanilla as an additional export.en_US
