    Abstract
Semi-current records at CAA are in large numbers which makes it hard for the organization to manage them considering the fact that there is less storage space. The main aim of this thesis is to identify the different categories of semi current records, the equipment used, the challenges faced and the solutions to these challenges. CAA has Technical, financial, subject and personnel records mainly and these are stored in Archival boxes in the records centre until they are finally transferred to their Archives in Soroti. however, the storage space available in the records centre cannot accommodate the ever accumulating semi current records which causes misplacement of records.
