    Abstract
    The purpose of the study was to design a library website for St. Denis Ssebugwawo Secondary School Ggaba Library to promote library services offered by the school library. The study objectives were to; identify the information needs of St. Denis Ssebugwawo Secondary School Ggaba Library Users, identify the existing information dissemination channels, find out the challenges in the dissemination of information and design a library website for St. Denis Ssebugwawo Secondary School Ggaba. The study adopted a case study research design. Purposive sampling and stratified sampling methods were used to select 2 librarians and 65 library users who participated in the study respectively. Interviews, questionnaire and observation methods were used to collect data for the study. The study established that the different library services offered by the school library were; library orientation, circulation service, exhibition and display, reference services, current awareness services, newspaper clippings and Internet services. The various information dissemination channels used by the school library were; notice boards, telephones, brochures, emails. The different challenges which were faced in library services at St. Denis Ssebugwawo SS. Ggaba Library were; poor network connectivity, unreliable electricity, limited space in the library, insecurity for the ICTs in the library, limited accessibility to computers in the library, network failure, limited knowledge on the general use of computers, and improper use of ICTs. The study concluded that St. Denis Ssebugwawo SS. Ggaba Library is faced with numerous challenges in providing information services and developed a website so as to enhance service provision to the library users. The study further recommended the school librarians to conduct orientation of the library users, digitization of the library materials, provision of user guides, employing more qualified librarians and provide Internet services in the library.
