dc.description.abstract | This research report as a study on the applied textile design as a means of visual communication at MTSIFA was based on the following specific objectives;
To analyze the use of applied textile design as a way of communication at MTSIFA
To find out how applied textile design has been used to visually communicate at MTSIFA
To justify whether applied textile design is indeed used in visual communication at MTSIFA
The study relied on statement of the problem from where the research significance was obtained while stating study introduction and background as an overview to the study. Like having completed this study, this was one of the basic requirements for one to acquire a Bachelor degree of industrial and Fine arts (BIFA)
The researcher used scholarly literature that had been written on applied textile design in reference to communication while providing the gist of the study in chapter two of this research. This literature as reviewed enabled the researcher to acquire more hints on the communication and design aspects in line with the study.
In chapter three which is the methodology, the researcher presents the research design and all field research data collection tools in review of how the study was managed citing the population sample and the study scope among others. This chapter is a justification of all the methods that the researcher shall use throughout the study gestation.
Chapter four of this research study was the center for discussion as different applied textile designs are applied in many numerous forms as the ability to communicate ideas in original and innovative ways is essential for all art, craft and design practitioners. This is so because Potential audiences and clients are becoming increasingly knowledgeable about the different forms of communication and there is a constant requirement for fresh, creative ideas to replace or revise | en_US |
