dc.description.abstractThis research draft report focuses on the analysis of wall paintings as a means of improving the learning environment of children in pre primary. A case study of Good Samaritan primary school with the purpose of discovering wall paintings found inside pre primary classrooms of the school and finding out their importance to the children and how they improve their learning environment. The objectives of the study are to examine the wall paintings found inside pre primary classrooms of Good Samaritan primary school, describe the type of colors used in their classroom wall paintings and also find out the significance of the classroom wall paintings to the children. Descriptive and explanatory research designs were used and a sample of 30 respondents in all the classes of pre primary were considered and therefore a lot of information was gathered from all the respondents in each class and the number was enough. Clustered and simple random sampling methods were used and also interviewing, questionnaire and observation methods were used to collect data. The major findings of the study are; Children’s response towards wall paintings and the estimated performance of children in reference to wall paintings. The major recommendations include; The administration of Good Samaritan primary school should consider making wall paintings of domestic and wild animals to enable children learn them very well because they are also relevant. They should also make new wall paintings inside pre primary classrooms because most of the wall paintings are dirty and some of them are fading.en_US
