    Abstract
    This research Report Looks at how African Traditional designs have been utilized to enhance the artwork quality that is in line with the African design process and create an element of originality. The report shows a relationship and comparison of how both modern and traditional African design influence each other and the contribution provided by both sides to survive in the creation world. the report further stresses the trend and choice of art most relied on between African and modern art by students at MTSIFA. It exploits the different tools employed to source data to be analyzed using the qualitative research design approach. In summary, i would to greatly express that modern art has greatly been influenced by the great African traditional art to a greater extent.
