The aim of this study was to design a digital Library for Majorine College Mulawa. The objective of the study was to; assess the information needs of Majorine College Library users, collect and organize electronic information materials that suites the information needs of Majorine College Mulawa Library users, provide seamless access to information materials at Majorine College Mulawa and create a digital library that will act as a single access point and gateway to digital and electronic information for Majorine College Mulawa Library. The study used a case study research design while adopting both qualitative research approach. Data collection methods included: Questionnaire and interviews and observation to collect data on information literacy. The study used a sample size of 50 who included:50 (100%) targeted respondents 5 (10%) were library staff, 45 (90%) library users. Sata was analyzed using Microsoft excel software. The findings indicated the Library users require Library services which include user education services, circulation services, reference services, current awareness services, leading workshop services, registration of users. Basing on the research findings it was found that the Library was experiencing a lot of problems while using the manual Library collection especially the delays that were brought about by long queues, cumbersome, time and capital consuming for both librarians and library users. Therefore, this called for a digital library that would minimize on such problem s encountered during the manual process. Based on the findings, it was established that every library activity at Majorine College Mulawa was manual and required to be digitalized. All books were worn out and torn apart due to over use. Hence a need to digitize. The study therefore concluded that it is very clear from the data gathered from the study that there are various challenges by the library staff in using the current library collection; it was 100% essential to design a digital library that could address the above-mentioned challenges. Though few respondents indicated, they do not face any challenges with the existing library collection, they still supported the designing of the digital library to improve on the patronage process. The designed was tested at the same time validated and the results show that the digital library is able to register library users at Majorine College Mulawa. Although this submission is developed purely for academic purposes, it is essential for school libraries to adopt the digital library and therefore it should not be under looked.en_US
