dc.description.abstractIn this research, it concerned investigating the role of paintings in selected medical facilities around Kampala. The research was composed of five chapters each describing the specific study. Chapter one was about the general introduction of the topic of study, statement of the problem, background, purpose of the study, research questions, limitations and scope of the study. Chapter two dealt with literature review and this study is mostly indicating the history of paintings in medical facilities all over the world and around Kampala. The study managed to find out the literature of the selected medical facilities and the roles they play to the environment. Chapter three addressed the nature of the study and the methods that were used in data collection, these included sampling, strategy, research design, data collection tools, the study area, interviews and the library survey. These helped the researcher to find out the relevant information Chapter four tacked the presentation and discussion of the findings in detail. This included the results or the findings from the selected medical facilities around Kampala Chapter five discusses the possible recommendations and conclusions of the study.en_US
